Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate who is interested in liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS) to join our Protein Analytics group. The candidate will work in a small team setting to support Adimab’s novel antibody discovery, maturation, and production platform. This role requires the ability to multi-task in a productive and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities- Perform LCMS-related assays to characterize therapeutic antibodies and investigate post-translational modifications
- Operate and maintain multiple liquid chromatography instruments and mass spectrometers
- Critically interpret data and troubleshoot experiments
- Communicate complex results effectively to colleagues and partners
- Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, characterization of antibody samples using other analytical technologies such as IEX, HIC, SEC, SDS-PAGE etc.
- Work in partnership with colleagues inside and outside of Protein Analytics
Needed upon hire- B.S. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields with 0-2 years of experience
- Background / knowledge of mass spectrometry is desired
- Basic understanding of chromatographic techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic skills with computer software such as Excel
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Communicates effectively and openly with colleagues and supervisor
